01

We never plan to resell

We're not a fund with a 5-year exit timeline. When we buy a business, we buy it to keep — and to grow it for the long term.

02

Your legacy is preserved

Your team, your customers, your culture — these things matter to us. We see ourselves as stewards of what you've built, not just buyers of it.

03

Patient, long-term thinking

We don't rush, we don't chase deals, and we don't make decisions that aren't in the long-term interest of the business and its people.

Why Station Street

A different kind of buyer — because most owners deserve better than the usual process

You deal directly with our director

You'll work with Chris Macrow, our director, throughout — not a fund manager, not a broker, not a rotating team. One person who is genuinely focused on finding the right business and making the process as simple as possible for you.

A straightforward process

Whether you come to us directly or through an adviser, we keep things simple. No unnecessary complexity, no drawn-out processes — just honest conversations and clear terms from the start.

A good home for a good business

Many owners worry about what happens to their business after they sell. We want to be the answer to that worry — a committed, long-term owner who will look after what you've spent years building.

What we look for

Good businesses built by people who care about what they've created

We're not chasing a specific industry or a particular type of business. What we're looking for is simpler than that — a business with stable revenue, a good team, and an owner who's ready to hand the reins to someone who will look after it properly.

The businesses that interest us most are the ones that have been quietly doing excellent work for years — serving their customers well, looking after their people, and building something durable. They don't need to be flashy. They just need to be good.

If you've been quietly wondering what happens to your business when you decide to stop, that's exactly the conversation we'd like to have. There's no obligation, no pressure, and no rush.

How it works

A straightforward process, from first conversation to settlement

01

We have a coffee

A confidential, no-obligation catch-up to understand your business and what you're looking for. No paperwork, no pressure — just an honest conversation about what a good outcome looks like for you.

02

We make a fair offer

If there's a fit, we move quickly to review the numbers and present a clear, straightforward offer. No drawn-out processes, no unexpected conditions at the end.

03

We settle on your terms

We work around your timeline and transition preferences — whether that's a clean break or a gradual handover over months. Whatever gives you and your team the most confidence.

Not ready to walk out the door on settlement day? That's completely fine.

Many owners we speak with have spent decades building their business. The idea of handing over the keys and disappearing doesn't feel right — and it doesn't have to be that way.

We're genuinely open to whatever transition works for you. Your knowledge, your relationships, and your continued involvement are valuable — and we'd rather work with you than lose any of that.

Stay on day to day during a handover period Work alongside us for 3, 6, or 12 months while we find our feet
Move to an advisory or consulting role Step back from daily operations but stay connected to the business
Phased exit over a longer period Gradually reduce your involvement at a pace that suits you
Clean break on settlement If you're ready to move on completely, that works too

A focused buyer with the background to do this properly

I'm Chris Macrow, the director of Station Street. I set this up specifically to find and acquire a great business from an owner who's ready to move on — and to be a genuinely good steward of what they've built.

My background spans accounting, finance, and sales. I understand how businesses actually work day to day, not just what the numbers say on paper. I know how to assess a business properly, and I know what it takes to run one well over the long term.

I'm not looking to flip what you've built. I'm looking for a business with good bones and great people — one I can look after, grow carefully, and be proud to have the responsibility of running. If you want to talk to someone who will be straight with you, I'd be glad to have that conversation.
